Due to the numerous parking facilities at the lancing centre, as well as its central location, a visit to the lancing centre will usually take no more than 15 minutes. Outsourcing routine blood sampling to the lancing centre can also save considerable time for the doctor.

Cooperation with conventional laboratory

The laboratory tests performed at Labo Maenhout are charged according to established rates. This ensures that the patient cannot expect any unexpected additional costs.

Direct integration in the doctor's medical file

Labo Maenhout sends the results electronically, by fax and/or by post to the requesting GP or doctor-specialist. The latter is always the first to view the results. Labo Maenhout integrates the laboratory results directly into the file of each doctor (hospital doctor, private specialist and GP).

Follow-up consultation

Instead of discussing laboratory results over the phone, a follow-up consultation is organised with your doctor, where the results can be discussed in peace and quiet. The patient will be informed by SMS or e-mail of the availability of the results at the doctor's office and will be invited to a follow-up appointment. Depending on individual agreements with the requesting physician, results may or may not be made available to the patient earlier.
Laboratory test results are best interpreted together with your (family) physician. A correct interpretation of the results is only possible in combination with other medical information only available to your doctor.
