History

Clinical Laboratory Maenhout was founded on 1 March 1979 by Apr biologist Patrick Maenhout.

"Over the past 40 years, I have found that laboratory medicine is a discipline in full swing. I witnessed the technological advancement of analytical methods, the development of reliable quality systems and the ongoing digitalisation of our healthcare system. I noticed that in terms of technological advances, the clinical laboratory has often been and still is a spearhead within medicine."

With an eye for optimum quality and service, Labo Maenhout therefore constantly invested in the development of new, fast and automated methods and communication platforms.

Throughout this technological and digital progress, however, the human aspect was never lost sight of. As a family business, we realise the importance of dedicated employees like no other.

Clinical Laboratory Maenhout carries out analyses in the field of clinical chemistry, hormonology, toxicology, therapeutic monitoring, haematology, coagulation, immunohematology, immunology, serology, microbiology and anatomopathology.
