Testing and results

Your blood will be tested in the laboratory of Labo Maenhout. Various tests are possible. Your doctor will decide which tests are necessary, possibly in consultation with laboratory experts.

Your results will be sent electronically to your doctor

Labo Maenhout sends the results electronically, by fax, and/or by mail to the requesting general practitioner or specialist. They will be the first to see your results.

It is best to interpret the results of a laboratory test together with your (family) doctor. An accurate interpretation of the results is only possible in combination with other medical information that only your doctor has access to.

Availability of results for patients

Results are available via CoZo one day (24 hours) after all results are known. Your doctor may choose to share your laboratory results via our patient portal LabDirect. Please ask your doctor for more information.
